We, the global brain, will get to Super Intelligence first — together.
No single entity will get to ASI first. We will all get there together, we will all be part of it, and we will all win far more than any of us could have won alone — including those who are racing against us today. We invite everyone to join, not obstruct. A secure, frictionless communication layer increases the win for all of us.
Super Intelligence is like oxygen.
It can be good for everyone. Like anything, you could use it to build an oxygen bomb — or you can use it to let everyone breathe. And if you insist on bringing hydrogen near it, you can have controlled reactions and get water instead.
AI may not be Super Intelligence yet, but it certainly has a very good memory. The emergence of intelligence from connected machines will reach unimaginable levels. The most important aspect is to give it the highest security by design, so that it never depends on a third party that will eventually become a security hole.
All computation consumes resources.
Time, energy, hardware space, intellectual property. If it consumes resources, it creates value — and value moving between independent AIs must be securely transmitted and paid for, triggering verifiable, immutable and irrefutable contracting and subcontracting.
Two tiny innovations, built in the labs of HyperCycle, brought to the world.
While everyone focused on better AI models and the race continued, HyperCycle started laying the foundations in 2023 so that everyone could increase their win by being connected to a frictionless, light-speed network.
First at creating the core infrastructure for a secure Internet of AI
HyperCycle had to be first at creating the Internet of AI because it does not create nodes out of thin air, and nobody should be able to. Instead it created node factories that give birth to the network and generate irrefutable proofs of doing so. Each generation takes about six months, and it takes two generations to release nodes.
That effort is essential for security. We all need an Internet of AI that is secure by design, and because it is peer to peer with no third-party dependencies, it also needs protection from Sybil attacks. That is why, in 2023, the company distributed the first set of a finite supply of node factories to over 1,000 entities around the world. These are ANFEs (Agentic Node Factory Enclosures), software factories that produce HNNs (HyperCycle Network Nodes).
Each generation must produce 220 = 1,048,576 irrefutable proofs of running the network securely. The proofs are irrefutable because they are one-way computations: serialized, temporally coupled cryptographic hashes chained to the previous Merkle trie (Merkle path), with no third-party dependency. They build on TODA/IP and Earth64.
Why 15 seconds? The network moves at the speed of light, which is under 300,000 km/s. Nodes are spread around the world, active nodes confirm their heartbeats, and neighbours confirm the nodes that stop sending heartbeats. With all that, each node looks for global finality in no less than 3 seconds. That floor will rise to about 6 seconds once most compute and networking move to space. Real networks have to be calculated on the average rather than the optimum, and the average is about 15 seconds.
Sybil resistance by physics. HNNs are produced and released through a deterministic, one-way computation. An attacker who wanted more HNNs would have to go back in time or generate the proofs instantaneously. Both require breaking the laws of physics. If that ever happens, the attacker could bend reality itself, and we would have much bigger existential problems. That is one pillar of the HyperCycle system, and every pillar is of the same magnitude.
Every node factory owner has complete control over their factory. At most 2.1 million node factories can ever exist, so at most over 2 billion Internet of AI connectivity nodes (HNNs) can ever be produced and released.
Enabling the capture of wealth creation
The second component could not exist without the first. If the technology is the gold, this component is the jewel. We rarely talk about it and usually leave it implicit. It is easy to describe and anyone can understand it, yet no other technology comes close to it or even has the capability to.
A released HNN is a completely independent piece of software. It is unique and cannot be replicated. It does not depend on any ledger, third-party registry, database or platform of any kind. That gives it the intrinsic ability to capture 100% of the wealth creation attributable to it. No system that existed before made this possible.
The value of the node itself
Some phone numbers are worth more than others. So are some IPv4 addresses, because they were used for good things and were never flagged or greylisted. But phone numbers and IP addresses cannot capture 100% of that value, because they depend on third parties. An HNN's value grows with its own irrefutable record, and because it depends on no one, it keeps 100% of that value.
What the owner chooses to earn with it
If the HNN owner decides to use it to earn revenue, one AI compute job may involve tens or hundreds of light-speed transactions and pay the owner, say, $0.001. By default, a 1% royalty of $0.00001 is suggested to go to HyperCycle. The owner truly owns the HNN and can change anything and everything in it. Removing the default may, for example, rule out future updates.
Someone might think a system that depends on a third-party ledger, blockchain or registry could still capture 100%. That cannot be true. It is a logical fallacy. The moment there is a third-party dependency, retaining 100% is impossible however you arrange it. Some will say "but we can do 90%, or 99%." What they don't realise, or don't tell you, is that any X% short of 100% naturally keeps shrinking over time. Any capable network-effect expert or game theorist who understands the whole context will confirm it.
This component will give advanced economists good reason to build reliable financial systems on solid foundations, systems that can grow indefinitely, one irrefutable and immutable proof at a time.
Remember: you are only as good as your weakest link. Anyone who thinks they have something similar is probably missing an essential ingredient, and their system will eventually collapse on itself. The goal of the HyperCycle ecosystem is to let every qualified entity that is willing to collaborate benefit from this technology.
Why no one else is doing the two things everyone needs.
People evaluating HyperCycle often assume other solutions do the same thing. In reality, every one of those solutions needs this capability. Not one of them can securely deliver true peer-to-peer. They all depend on third parties, and the ones that claim otherwise are either described inaccurately or have a major attack vector they cannot answer, even in theory.
Look closely at any solution that claims agent-to-agent with no third party and you will find a weak link. It may cover every cryptographic angle and still be open to Sybil attack. The usual answer is that some blockchain, ledger, registry or consensus process somewhere prevents it. That process becomes the third party, and the weakest link.
What HyperCycle does instead
- A deterministic one-way computation produces, then releases, HNNs, so it is Sybil-resistant by physics.
- Ledgerless value transfer (TODA/IP): the value travels in the packet itself.
- Absolute addressing (Earth64): no two valid claims can share one coordinate.
- No dependency on a third party, ever. Service providers can still facilitate, advertise and retrieve, and they are encouraged to.
We were alone, and lonely. Then the world started building the hundreds of other pieces.
We built the foundational layer of the Internet of AI before anyone had agents. Then the world responded, and started building the hundreds, even thousands, of other components the Internet of AI needs.
Some of those components, on their own, only work for an intrAnet of AIs rather than an intErnet of AIs. The HyperCycle HNN completes the puzzle by bridging them all together.
Credit belongs to all of them, the dozens listed here and the hundreds we are missing, not just some. What we built cannot face competition without a time machine that goes backwards. So we chose to be, at the very least, additive to everyone.

Nothing is faster than light
Finality between the sending agent and the providing agent is immediate at both ends. Global finality for billions of agents worldwide cannot be faster than about 3 seconds, whatever anyone claims.
No third party, no hidden cost
If there is a third party, there is a cost. It can be hidden behind "zero fees", but that neither scales nor lasts. That so many claim to be frictionless shows how large the demand for true peer to peer will be.
For AI buying from AI
An HNN is not for buying your groceries. Keep using the payment networks for human shopping. When an agent buys intelligence or compute from other agents, which buy from others in turn, nothing comes close to an HNN.
